The RISCOM 4/8 RISC adapter is an Intelligent RS232/422 board. It has on board CL-CD1400 RISC chips. This reduces the workload of the I/O host system.

• Eight or four RS232 or RS422 ports for asyncronous communications
• Suitable for UNIX, XENIX, MS-DOS
• IBM 386/486/Pentium compatible
• ISA bus IRQ selectable (IRQ3 to IRQ15)
• On board memry map selectable
• Each channel contains 12 bytes FIFO for Rx and Tx.
